I thought he had moved back to Scotland after he left LA? Wait, he bought a village? All of it?! Ha!! Good for him! I'm surprised, I didn't think that could be done any more. Where's his castle? I don't blame him for owning one - I've always loved castles, and I fell in love with one 20 years back that I went to see once. I can't remember where it is now; I saw it once, but it's always such in my mind - I could describe it now.
How did you know him in Glasgow, and how did you end up in Canada? I'm glad you met up again. Were you close back in Scotland?

I love Billy Connolly. You are my new hero.
Connolly's routine about his colonoscopy is one of my favorite "laugh till I can't breathe and hope I don't poop my pants" things.
Thanks to this, I have just lost almost an hour on YouTube watching Billy Connolly.

My favourite sketch is the 'woman on a bus' .... I don't know if it because i can visualise this or something, but I hurt from laughing every time I hear it!!!
I found a tape, when I was 14 at a car boot sale, and it introduced me to him! I no longer have the audio tape, but I recall that the crucifixion was on it, and the balaclava knitted by his aunty (Giant ants. They're eating ma heed!!!). Ive been a fan ever since!
Interesting to note how his accent has lessened since the early days!
