On behalf of the thirty-four letter carriers who work for me, Thank You. You would not believe how many people around here refuse to shovel their walks and driveways.

My pleasure indeed. My carriers still walk my neighborhood so its a small thing I can do to make their day easier.

I've a spare set of snowshoes you are welcome to borrow next time. Looks like you made it through one of the rare Missour-Kansas deep dumps (former Kansas City suburbanite here). Love your pics.

Although I am not pleased about having to change jobs, my new one I start next month has a very comfortable commute---one flight of stairs to my basement office where I will be working from home via computer for my 40 hours a week. Saves on gas and having to worry about your kind of meteorological predicament, no pager, and no night call or weekend work, ever. Heck, now I can really wear whatever I want to work---kilt, jeans, pajamas, even nude if the weather gets too hot.
