Being somewhat biased, since my kilt is an 8 yard, 17oz army tank, I thought nothing could pale in comparison. I'm still biased. Lol. Actually, my brother got the Holyrood as his first kilt and I have been very surprised at how nice it looks in person. It looks like a five hundred dollar kilt, whereas it is a fraction of that price. He's been asked by a few people as to what sett the kilt is. It definitely is an eye catcher. Very nice. One of the sharper non-clan kilts out there for sure.

Very, very nice. You look great. I love my Holyrood and wear it as much as possible.

Tom, your handiwork gets compliments. An A-Number-One sporran, sir.
Rich, thank you for the compliment. Your Semi-Traditional was a deciding factor in my choosing this tartan.
Opositive, Flairball, Knotty, Unclevenus, thank you for your compliments.
McScott, they are Lovat Blue in colour.

Btw, I made some flashes with extra red material and some military blousing bands. Try goving it a shot. They work brilliantly!

Man, I hate it when that happens.
In some forums I'm on, you can't even follow the threads as there are so many blank boxes.

You can upload the files here, can't you? That'll guarantee they'll stick around.

Sort of makes this thread pointless - with most of the posts referring to the images.
