Argyle Cuff orientation question

Mine are at the back. If the cuffs are working cuffs, then often they are like a collar - with an opening, rather than a turtleneck. And that opening is at the back so that, when the cuffs are unbuttoned and folded down the hands are covered, but the lower part is open.

The seam where the cuff is joined in the round should line up with the seam on your jacket sleeve that is closest to your thumb, when you're wearing the jacket. The high peak of the cuff should line up with the sleeve seam that is closest to your little finger, when wearing the jacket. In other words, you were right all along.

Yup, on the two Scottish-made Argyll jackets I have (all my others seem to have Crail cuffs), the points of the cuffs are at the rear seam. With hands flat against your sides, it would be at the pinky. And as you bend your elbow up, as in a hand-shaking motion, the point is at the bottom.

I've never taken photos specifically to show cuffs, but you can see what I'm talking about (hopefully) below.
