The King Robert the Bruce Memorial Tartan

Not a complex pattern, but the colours appear to balance each other nicely. I'm smitten with this one. Even though I don't think Scots were wearing tartan at the time.

I saw that this morning as well. I don't know why but tartans with large black fields generally leave me cold, and this one is no exception.

There was a licorice candy here in the US some decades ago called "Good 'n' Plenty". Black licorice bites in pink and white candy shells. Just sayin'...

Good n' Plenty is still plenty available (and plenty delicious).

There still is. Good 'n' Plenty is my favorite candy in the whole, wide world.

And I have to admit... it makes a welcome change from the ubiquitous Black Stewart.

X: If you get a kilt in this tartan, by all means share a picture of it. I would love to see it. It appears a little too dark for me. I would prefer one of the other "brighter" Bruce tartans.

Nope, this just isn't my cup of tea. Maybe I'm too much of a traditional type. There are so many very nice, balanced, tartans available already. I do not see the point of designing another tartan just 'cause the software is readily available and someone has some time to spare.
