I realise I'm posting on a thread that started years before I found X marks, but I just wanted to say this is one of my favorites. I especially like how the OPs are wearing very different tartans, one quite dark and the other rather bright. And this does nothing to affect the versatility of either kilt. Kudos to both of you.

If you cannot fix it, mess it up so bad that no one else can either.

Some great visual aides here gentlemen. Thank you for sharing. It is amazing the versatility of the kilt.

Your thread has given me quite a few ideas and I thank you for it.... Even if my wallet does not.

One piece at a time, that's how we both did it.

I, most often, fall into the "ultra casual" range when wearing my kilt..

    http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...ilikilt-81371/

With that being said, I will be ordering a couple of "nicer wear" kilts this year so that I have something to wear to "dress up" events.
