It all comes around again .. maybe ..

The wife has pulled out her three kilts after many many many years and says she might well start wearing them again (from time to time) to go with a leather jacket that she bought in a sale just after Christmas. They just about still fit her but need a dry clean n press first. They were made to measure by Hector Russell in Inverness and classed as Ladies Kilts. They are 4yd medium weight and fasten to the right. They are about 30yrs old now.
Fingers crossed she will wear them. As we say on xmts .. if it happens the pic will be there for sure
    Here are the kilts

    Fingers Crossed for you, Derek!

interestingly enough, we both have the same flooring - tumbled, unfilled travertine.

    Derek,
All three of those are beautiful cilts, especiall the one in the center (to my eyes); I'm sure your wife is going to look great in them. Could you identify the tartans?

My wife has several kilts and has been wearing them since she was a wee child. Her mother and father, both being of Scottish decent, instilled much of their Scottish heritage in their children. Some of her toddler kilts have already moved on to our granddaughters. I won't tell you how old she is but, she can still wear a couple that she had as a young woman. All of her kilts are some version of Stewart tartan (Her family clan) except a used one I found for her in Fraser Tartan.

She wears her kilts often, using them for work and dress up but, I especially like it when we can both go out together dressed in kilts.
