Some potential bargains for tank lovers

Just ordered a new kilt today for my Dad's 8oth birthday at a great price in the same tartan I usually wear which is Hunting Macgregor.

Found the seller on ebay but before I decided on it, I came across these beauties which I thought one or two of the rabble might be interested in:

If I were the same size as my Dad I'd be having them.

Wow! Those are some outstanding kilts!
    I wish I had a 33 inch waist. I'm a 36. Just a little too skinny for me

What are those GI kilts made of? 13 -16 oz wool?

Yeah. I have to stop gazing at them. I keep falling into a daydream where I imagine that cloth swishing away behind me as I walk down the street (slaps face) enough! It's not going to happen!

Usually 18 oz wool. That was the old regimental standard, I believe. Some (especially officers' kilts which were bought privately) may be 16 oz. But never 13 oz on a military kilt.

Man, two of these kilts are just my size. That's all I need - another military kilt! *temptation*
