Who would ever have thought...!
Blu... Kilt conservative... devotee of tartan and worsted wool.... and now... proud owner of a brand new R-Kilt! What!...Can that possibly be true??!! Yessir! True it is indeed! Today my wife and I attended the Celtic Roots Festival in Godrich, Ontario where "R" Kilts has a display booth this weekend. After chatting briefly, my wife suggested that I try on one of Robert Pel's kilts. When I came out of the change booth, her eyes lit up like it was Chritmas! Hmmmm... my wife likes this kilt, other lassies there commenting on how great it looks, should I buy??? Tough choice! Anyway, here's the new blu....
That's me on the left, another vendor wearing a short leather "R"kilt, and kiltmaker Robert Pel on the right. I've been wearing the kilt all afternoon. I Got stopped by a piper this afternoon who thought it looked fantastic so I gave him one of "R" Kilts information cards. Some days you just never know what kind of hand the world is going to deal! 8)

Get it
Cool, you got a great wife too!Isn't it fantastic when they say "well aren't you going to get it"
Sometimes I wish I could get a card stamped when I give out referals for kilts that make a saleSo when they add up it would go towards $$$ off my next kilt purchase.I have to tell you I love my traditional kilt but my Utilikilts are my workhores around the house.

Blu,
After the heart started beating again, I must admit that you look great! You are one happy looking kilted gentleman. I hope that you will be happy in your new look.

Glen, no one was more surprised than me. But get this... my wife thinks I should shave off what little hair I have left (like Philh's) 'cause it would look better with this kilt. This is all so sudden! But I'm sure I can come to grips with all of this sooner or later! 8)

Absolutely fantastic! And it's great to see Robert out and about with the living (and out from behind the machines).
It's one thing to sit here and shat about the kilts... it's another to be able to see them in person. Luckily, you were able to see an R-Kilt and get that baby!

Blu....!!!!! wot have you done!!
How could you?
you look great, the kilt looks good, really good on you.
Is it comfy? what is the material like?
As for shaving, how could your wife say such a thing, let me talk to her, where is she? NOW LISTEN!! leave his head alone, he looks fine as he is.
Take my advice Blu, keep what hair you have!
Well you are full of surprises, I'm jealous, I can't just go to any event here and suddenly decide to buy a kilt from a stall. It's not fair
