That is a lovely sporran, congrats. What did those un-technical specifications translate into when it came to fur?

I knew I wanted fox fur; I just like the depth of colour and the different tones and I tried (badly) to describe the sort of characteristics I wanted (although accepting that fur is natural and so will vary from animal to animal).

Anyway Kate seemed to know what I was trying to get at and explained that the lower back part of the fox skin is more coarse and has a white fleck in it whereas the paler "flyaway" fur comes from the top around the neck.
