If this is the Turpin I'm thinking of, his work has been an inspiration for me in my meager efforts at sporran making, and I am most saddened by the news. Having lost friends and family to cancer, I know it is a tough, unforgiving foe to battle. My sincerest prayers and best wishes are with him.

Turpin has been a member of this community since the 7th of July, 2006. He has amassed an impressive 3846 posts.
If that is not the sign of a member of our family I'm not sure what could be.
To my brother, whom I've never met.
Turpin, keep up your strength and your attitude. We all wish and hope the best for you.

Heavenly Father: I don't know Turpin, but you know him well. Bring him healing, comfort, and peace of mind in his struggle with cancer. Provide your guidance to all of the health professionals helping him. Give patience, hope, and strength to his family, loved ones, and friends, including all of us. Amen.
