***. White hose are a controversial choice (although I have done) and scream rental. If you can afford matching argyll or diced hose, they are the most appropriate choice for a Prince Charlie.

Turn down collar is more common overseas with the PC. Some even suggest a fly front shirt rather than one with visible studs.

I'd avoid the fly plaid but that one is up to you as far as I'm concerned.
