Unfortunately, fashion has taken functional clothing and turned it into disfunctional clothing.

If you were wearing just a t-shirt and kilt then you would be cold in winter
I havn't had this question yet maybe it's just a matter of time.I usually just get the "Whats under the kilt" question I'll get a t-shirt with large friendly letters saying "Nothing"

Graham,
If you want to understand "mooning" take another look at the big battle scene in 'Braveheart'.

Thanks Casey, NOW I understand.
David, we're getting some great ideas here for
T shirts.
there's also the USAK saying "what's up yours?"
Of course, i was only kidding, I like to be careful about the messages on shirts I wear, in fact I rarely wear a shirt with message on it outside of a place name, or business name.

I too get this one quite often. It might be fun to try a different approach such as... If it's a lassie, one might try...
"Ohhhh I'm freezing my shorts off!... You could help by moving a bit closer! (batting the baby blues all the while.)
If it's a man....
"Absolutely freezing!, It's a highlanders test of manhood, you know! (with a big smile.)
It'll either shut 'em up or get a laugh. 8)

We've had this discussion with Graham before. I doubt that he would be.
