How often do you wear your kilt?

couple of times per week:
Normally, every other weekend, the wife and I will take time to go on an outing with the kids because of her schedule (she's a CNA for a nursing home, 2nd shift). I wear my kilt at every oppurtunity when not at my place of work. Often times I get a treat and need to run small errands through the week, giving me more time kilted-up.

I acquired my first traditional kilt (Dress MacDonald of Clan Ranald) and modern kilt about the same time last year. Ostensibly the traditional kilt was for my stepsons wedding and so far I've worn it only on 'Dress up' occasions like the wedding, new year etc. The Modern kilt I've worn at the Chicago Worldcon (Science fiction fan gathering) and a few other SF Cons.

So bottom line, more than a few times a year, but not as often as monthly, but I do have plans this summer to get out more often!

I can't wear my kilt at work, but if I'm not at work I'm kilted. And yes, I'm conspicuous. I don't care. I understand there is at least one other kilted guy in my town but I've never met him. I even wear a kilt on my motorcycle, but I usually put FirstGear riding over-pants on top of it 'cause I don't like the mental image of sliding down the road with my kilt up around my armpits.

On average, I kilt up a few times a week. Like Singlemalt, this is mostly at home; if I go too long without wearing a kilt, She Who Must Be Obeyed will demand that I unbirfurcate myself!

Kilt worthy events come up somewhat less often and could include Burns day, Christmas, Hogmanay, St. Andrew's, St. Pat's, Alexander Keith's birthday, my birthday, Tartan Day, Highland games, festivals, concerts, kilted pub nights, etc.

Too few times I am afraid.
Usually for Highland games, British fairs, visiting the pub, garden parties, opera, concerts and theatre and any arising occasion...but too few yet.

I chose every day because most days I do after work and most weekends after cycling or tennis and car washing, but not absolutely every day. It is just so much more comfortable to be kilted. Regretably cannot wear it for work as am frequently climbing ladders into folks lofts and they don't provide much knee protection for crawling around. Reversing could be interesting too but the main issue would be the weekly cleaning required.

The number of times has increased with may latest number increase from 3 to 5. But recently I am wearing much more due to sun burnt legs. And I'm going with no hose and bare foot when I can. That's what I get for going to the pool with my wife when I'm not much of a swimmer. But at least I have a good excuse to be kilted (not that one was needed).
