After making a stink over your pun I really hate to mention this but without photographic proof...it never happened.

Yeah... I hate to have to respond to it because this thread was meant as a quick bit of gratitude for a job well done. I Just reread the rules and while I know people love to see photos, I don't think there's a rule that says I have to post a photo to thank someone for good customer service. I'll post a photo in the hose at my first opportunity because, as I mentioned, I can't wait to wear them. Anyway...

Was hoping to post a pic of me wearing these but I haven't had time. Here they are anyway. I'm very happy with them and the service!

Whereas I do love House of Cheviot hose, the only thing that prevents me from buying from the Bowmore range is the fact that the ribbing stops at the ankle and doesn't continue all the way down to the (reinforced) foot area like in their other range of hose and country socks. I understand that the Bowmore range is more of a country style sock, designed to be worn with wellys or a thicker daywear brogue, but with that being said, I still think they look very smart with Highland dress. Personally, I could never wear them due to the ribbing issue, which would drive my OCD mind nuts, but hey, that's just me and one of my many quirks! I am sure you will wear them well, mate!

    Cheers,

    Those are sharp, sharp hose!
Well done, Nathan (and Matt)!! I love the pattern and tha colours. I have seen those hose many times and considered them.
My legs get so terribly warm, though, that I generally stick to thinner hose to avoid overheating...but that means that I sacrafice reinforcement in the toe and heel. The solutin there is often to wear ankle socks under my hose. I get added strength and maintain a cooler temperature around my legs. I just can't do the scrunched hose thing, so stupid looking.
