Excellent choice. I have a PH kilt and couldn't be happier. Are you connected in any way to Stilletto Rebel, as he got a Manx kilt from Paul too?

Thanks all!
I am a bit baffled as to the best hose/ flashes/ tie combo to contrast the tartan. I have a charcoal tweed Braemar, and plain black belt sporran and straps, so the palate is fairly open, but without going to Lovat green, I'm a bit lost. I was getting Claret hose to go with my Black Watch, but that might overpower the Manx.... Any thoughts?

No, I have no connections here... I got the Manx as it's my heritage, and from Paul Henry as he gets great reviews here and on other forums. If I hadn't found this place I probably would have gone HoS all the way.
Cheers,
Cameron

Go with the claret hose, they will not overpower the manx tartan. If you are up for another jacket/waiscoat combo, may I suggest poacher tweed, green with a subtle windowpane check in claret/oatmeal. I have one which I wear with MacLaren and Paterson tartans (both predominatly blue/green tartans)
Link to poacher tweed material.
