First Kit wearing EVER!

The past weekend was our first Renaissance Faire of the season and I was finally able to wear my kilt. The weather was poor, low 40s and rainy, but I wore it with pride and even influenced others to wear theirs the next day. It was just an economy kilt but it will work as I finalize my family history and get my desired kilt ready.

All in all I love it. Glad I found this forum and glad I chose to wear it!

I don't have a proper sporran or kilt belt at the moment. I have my belt on order though and I am making my own chain sporran belt. Once I have it all together I will post up some pics

Careful of that chain belt. Chains have a way of gradually wearing out the fabric of the kilt. If you can find a leather strap (or repurpose a belt from Goodwill) that will help protect your kilt.
