    +4 Way too much bling for my taste. The buttons overpower the jacket and vest.

    As for the Alpine aspect, I'd hate to see the matching lederhosen.

    It doesn't remind me at all of traditional trachten. I've always admired both tracht and Capt. Von Trapp, who was Austria-Hungary's greatest submarine "ace" during the First World War.

    Those buttons on the lapel make me think it should be worn over lederhosen!
    When I look at it I immediately think "Lord Nelson". That's my first reaction, so I guess (at least for me) it's a nautical look. Great if that's what your going for.

    My taste lean more towards a more modern (evolving) look. I like a "classical" look, but for me, sometimes "classical" can seem kind of costume-ish. Not a bad deal, just not my deal.
