A big kyleism *** to that Kyle. I'll be having one to honour his memory on Saturday, also.

Thanks, Jim, PM sent. I prefer to fit with the prevailing group, but have attended when Hawaiian shirts were requested, so am flexible.
If you think I won't be out of place, it works for me.

I'm sorry to read of his demise, and what a life!

I was unable to attend the memorial today due to work commitments, but I was able to visit Westminster Abbey earlier this afternoon where I lit a candle to Turpin's memory and left a prayer request for the comfort of his family and well.... selfishly for myself. It's not been an easy two weeks. I've learned that one can be among crowds of tourists and still be alone.

Beverly, there was a nice crowd, many kilted folk, and I think we remembered Turpin in fine fashion. I thought of you often and remembered you in my own prayers.

Turp wasn't there, so it was fine that you were in England. Westminster is a fine place to render one's devotion.

I hope you will light a candle for me, too. I did the best I could.

    Beverly,
Time may have moved on a little but that does not mean that Turpin and you are not still in the prayers of Xmarkers. You are certainly both in my thoughts and blessings.

I think it was the best anyone could have done. Deftly handled; beautiful service. The lawyer was a little long, but informative
as to Turpin's impressive professional life.

Beverly, I'm sure you were in more prayers than just Jim's and mine.

Very nice gathering at the home after. Reference made to the comments here from all. Family members were touched by the caring and concern of those who knew him only through the web.

Using the wee XMTS Saltire Quaich we toasted Turpin sharing our times and thoughts for our friend.
