Brooke, I know Daelin was wearing an Irish kilt but I think it should be renamed the Golden Gate tartan. As you suggested, the colors certainly did match. Thanks for all the great photos too, I didn't get to take as many as I had planned on.

Wonderful photos Gents! Brooke I see you have been a good influence on Daelin. I may have to hang up my white plume!
Cheers

Not so fast there mate! Remember, everything I know about this stuff I learned here from folks like you and a handful of others, so don't hang it up just yet. At age 16, he may be out of my sphere of influence pretty soon and could benefit from some input from uncle Jamie!
Take good care,
Brooke

Well Phil, I don't think the good folks of County Meath would be all that upset, but I bet the folks at House of Edgar sure would be! It really is a lovely tartan and kilt, and it was handcrafted by our own Bonnie Heather Greene. As you were busy trying to keep your shoulders from dislocating while holding that flag in the "breeze" we'll give you a pass on the photo detail ! No excuses next year though

Thank you for sharing these photos, Phil and MacMillan. It's good to participate in an annual event like that and to share it with friends and family. And... Good to see the two of you (actually, three of you with, Daelin) lookin' so good in your kilts.

Best wishes,
It was a very pleasant day on the bay indeed, and it is quite a wonderful city...as cities go . It can sometimes be quite cool and foggy in San Francisco, even in the summer time, but certainly not this day. If you plan to come this way, do give us a heads up and the NorCal Rabble will certainly put something together to mark the occasion.
Cheers!

Enjoyed the pictures, looks like fun. Sailortats, thanks for being willing to continue to show up and serve. Without you, and those
also willing, this reminder of brave men who stepped up when needed would fade away. Very little left of an amazing chapter of
history.
