Back in the swing of things

Its been a year since I last logged on. Today we went to the Glasgow Highland Games, my first in two years. Just after the 2011 games, we took in a sibling group of 4 kids (2 to 8 at the time) with the intent to adopt. Well last November we were able to finalize the adoption and make it official. So today we took the kids(now 4-10) to Glasgow, KY for their first highland games. We all had a good time and I think the kids found something they liked. I ran into ForresterModern and his son, he suggested I come on and update everyone. I just haven't had much time to get online between work and kids. That's it in a nutshell. I hope everyone is doing well.

Welcome back, and congrats on the adoption. Did y'all get drenched like I did? I was down at the Pipe Band competition circle nearly every moment after the opening ceremonies massed bands. I actually managed to stay mostly dry - just my head got wet during the downpours.
