I had to share this.
Since yesterday was supposed to be 25 degrees, the Lass & I decided to go to Victoria. Do to the expended temperature I wore a tied dyed muscle shirt, poly cotton box pleat & sandals.
One of the things she wanted to do was get a nose piece for her glasses. While she was lookin at new frames a salesman showed different options & colors. While they were chattin he had to ask, "Darling, I have to ask. Is it true what they say about men in kilts?". Her response was, "Of course.".

My first appearance in first kilt; was on my way to a family picnic at a state park. Sandals and a GI boonie hat completed the outfit. Belt and sporran were crafted by myself. Remarks ranged from "my attire was very nice" (from a Scottish stranger), to "what kind of getup is that" (from one of my brothers), to "what does a Scot wear under his kilt" (from a lady cousin)? There was much explaining where the kilt fit into the family tree.

I was pleasantly surprised how well the 15oz. wool shed wrinkles, considering how much time I spent sitting in the car and at the picnic.

Very well put together.
One of the advantages of heavy weight wool is the lack of wrinkles.

From what we can see in the photo, you're looking good, but then you had to go and spoil it all by saying that you wore sandals. Sandals alone are OK. Socks with anything but sandals are OK. Sandals AND socks is a big no no.

You wore WHAT when it was 25 degrees????? Oh, wait. You mean 25 degrees Centigrade. Whew! Then again, I was about to commend you on your sartorial selection given the what I thought was sub-freezing weather. I figured you were just urging Summer to arrive already.

That would be a matter of opinion. Mine differs.

Wow, I was expecting to get gigged for the G.I. Boonie Hat (desert camo). I always wear socks with sandals except when around the house, or when I expect my feet to get wet...canoeing or ww rafting for example. I guess if we didn't all have opinions, the world would be a medium shade of gray and pretty dull.
