Recurring thought upon seeing things as "over the top" as these is, as kilting and by default, accessorizing, become more common, so too will be examples of "something completely different."

Well fellows as a Lass' I would be mighty attracted to the pink/red furry one so maybe it has that appeal for lad's looking to pick up ladies....
Hell I'd buy it just so I could snuggle with it....but wear it um, well I have better taste than that (or at least I like to imagine I do)

Agree to all of the above. It got me thinking of my western (non dinner plate) buckles.
I do wear solid or tone on tone ( dobby stripe) western shirts with my tartan kilts a lot as they fit well, are long sleeved and look good without vest or tie.
Have been thinking of making belt buckle wires for these two buckles to fit my kilt belts:
Wondering where these would fall in the rabble opinions.

So true! One might wear a Saltire kilt, have a Saltire shirt, another painted on the face, and so on. In that context there's no such thing as "too much"

I see this word "quality" thrown around all over the internet and in daily speech quite often. EVERYTHING has quality...but what DEGREE of quality is seldom defined (high/good-low/bad).
People are often misled by attention-grabbing words with nothing substaantial behind them.

The last time my brand of coffee got "New and Improved", my 3 pound (48 ounce) container dropped to 27.8 ounces.
Price is the same. Improved for whom?
