    Actually e-bay did that for me. I know that my english and my orthography is not perfect, but in that case it was a direct quote.

    I think that symbolism can be over done. I have a tie embroidered with thistles and another with rampant lions; and yes, I wear them with my kilts. But the thing is that my general trappings have neither of these symbols. Though I must admit that I was considering a pair of silver rampant lion cuff links, but that's because the chapter of the reenactment troop I'm part of has a white lion on it's shield. My plaid brooch and belt buckle are a matching set of "Celtic" crosses, but to my medievalist eyes they look a bit more Anglo-Saxon. I try to avoid too much of the gimmicky looking stuff. As to the Elmo skin sporran, well I would rather it were a full mask.
