Does the kilt for the competion have to be a USAK?
No... I'm not the "kilt Nazi" (like the seinfeld Soup Nazi). I'd LIKE to see some USA Kilts up there (if you already have 1... or 7... Rich), but that's not the point. I just want some creative shots of men in Kilts. If you have a Tartan kilt, it'd make for a better pic, but a Victory USAK/ Utilikilt/ Pittsburgh kilt/ etc will work just fine.
Rocky, you raise some good points and it's true we could be more creative with our photos, but in defense I will say this
Graham... In my defense... It's my contest, so I'll do as I damn well please! HAHAHAHAHAHA...
Yes, I realize you will probably need a 3rd person.
Yes, I realize that it's my job to show close-ups. The site is going to be "overhauled" soon. We're busy playing catch-up on orders right now and finishing up the summer festival season, but I PROMISE that change is on the way. HOWEVER, showing different tartans pleated up differently and several random examples of a kiltmaker's quality will give potential customers a better basis to make a decision. Doesn't matter who the kiltmaker is... just post pics of details that you think are good OR bad.
I agree that Tazmania is beautiful. However, tartan is MORE beautiful. hahahah... I really LIKE the pic of you in your BW Trad with the chainsaw! That was pretty darn creative! Great SHIRT by the way.
Thanks for allowing me to steal the pics you post. They'll make a great start to a new "Customer Pics" gallery on the new site.
Last but not least... Whoever that guy was in the Duct tape and blanket needs to be beaten within an inch of his life. VERY Funny, but at the same time, not funny at all.
