How's it go? something like "It takes seven muscles to frown, but only one to extend your arm and slap the guy that's annoying you upside the head", so keep that in mind next time someone bugs you. (Lest anyone be offended, I was not picturing hitting any member of this forum).
I think debating has its place. The problem is, if both sides are emotionally attached to their viewpoints, then things never work themselves out, it just becomes a tense stalemate or a shouting match. And since everyone's reading our posts, then saving face becomes a big issue, like when two kids about to fight are surrounded by the whole school.
A lot of the less vocal members certainly have their own opinions, and often withhold them in an attempt to preserve the peace and to avoid "drawing battle lines". Being an opinionated individual, I was a bit dissappointed the first couple times I saw a lively thread closed, but over time I've come to agree with Hank's methods (not like you need by personal vote of confidence anyways Hank, hehe). Even if I won't always agree, I see the value of the forum, and recognize it as his creation, to mold as he sees fit. I think it's kind of funny how we argue and rant about how this forum should be run, when he has a set vision in his mind of how the forum should be, and aside from explaining his rationale isn't about to compromise on his ideal.
By the way, Jimmy, I'll never complain if you send me pictures of girls in Daisy Dukes, unless the "girl" happens to be Janet Reno (I respect her too much, yeah, that's the ticket!).
