I used to play over at Tom's a lot, but it's just not my bag any more.

Anyhow, we're going to be in South and Southwest Ireland. Killarney, Dingle, County Claire (where my ancestors are from) -- that area.

I'm looking forward to hiking my legs off, and maybe visiting some of these 'thin places' one reads about.

Dingle rocks! Best little town in Southern Ireland. 1500 people and 56 pubs. We went for one night and stayed for almost a week. Be sure to do the tour of the region, but skip the Fungi boat trip.
