AZ DiamondBacks Irish Heritage game
On Sept 17th "half way to St. Patricks day" The Arizona Diamond Backs "baseball" will be holding a Irish Heritage game.
This should be interesting, not sure how many, if any games have had kilted attendees.
I will be wearing my Irish Saffron, but the big question... how will it look with a baseball jersey?
Also should I go with the home team Dbacks red or my RedSox brick red colored jersey?
Normally I wouldn't go to a home game wearing another teams jersey, but I figured there would be allot other Boston fans darning there Irish.
I guess I should try them on, take a few photos and get your valued opinion.
If any AZ members would care to join in, I will be purchasing a block of tickets, let me know if your interested.

I would think either would work with the saffron but would want pictures to be sure.

Could you please share where you got this info?
The DBacks are in LA on 17 September and there is no promotion listed http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/sc...ns.jsp?c_id=la
The DBacks play in San Francisco on the 10th, and there is an Irish Heritage Night but nothing special about this as they do it for all kinds of ethnicity/Religions

How come they never do "English Heritage" things?
Far more Americans have English last names than Irish ones.

That's easy, most American's already do that once a week.
Seriously though, probably because the food is bland and the fashion mags are already obsessed with the royal family.

Good question Sean, it was on the calender under promotions last week, and now it is not. I have sent a email to them asking why.
4 games Sept 16-19, all with the Dodgers but they are in AZ, not LA.
Richard, we have English heritage night every other friday. Happy hour at the George and Dragon pub, Phoenix... bloody good times.
Castle, put in quotes, cuz many of our over the pond brothers may not know what a Diamondback is?
Other than a snake, just like I couldn't tell you what sport the Club de l'Quest plays.
