OK chaps there is absolutely no reason to be cautious, this site is 100% kosher. Tim--bratach1---- is/was a member here and is based in Aberlour on Speyside , Scotland. There are many members that have dealt with this firm quite satisfactoraly.Have no fears here.

Thank you, Jock.
My Haggart's tweed Argyll and waistcoat were made by Timothy.
Absolute brilliant stuff, first rate full stop.
If you dig around you can find some pictures of me in them on here:

And you got your heavyweight Haggart's tweed just in time, as Timothy no longer offers it, not his fault of course. He still, however, offers a smart line of Ettrick tweed.

First thing I must say is a big thanks to all our friends-clients above who we see have come out to play on our behalf. Thanks chaps.
Anyone who is in the know and has been with us since way back in 1998 knows what The House of Labhran is about. I won't say anymore. If anyone new wants to email us and ask more questions please feel free. Yes use the website email. I know it shows as a gmail address, but guess what I will answer that email where ever we are which at this time of year is for some days of the week grouse beating in the Cairngorms, if you want the .com email address just let me know, but it gets forwarded through to gmail.
So anyone who has any questions we would love to hear from you. Off to talk to a new weaver this week and source some more keepers tweeds to replace the Haggart's since they sold the company and stopped weaving their own cloth. Plus a day or so on the grouse.....
Thanks again everyone in the know.
Tim
House of Labhran - 100% Speyside Scotland
All out of "ayes," yet again, so here's a plus one. Well said, Tim.
Cheers,

Agreed. If you want the real deal, including vintage items, then House of Labhran is a good option. I've purchased several vintage sporrans from him and have been quite pleased.

The prices seem a little high to me to be Asian/Pakistani manufacture. Not seeing any of the unbelievably low prices you often do on the South Asian sites.

It's not Asian/Pakistani manufacture. It's high quality products supplied by a Scotsman, Timothy Niall-Harris.

Sounds splendid, Tim! Next time I'm over, I'll take you up on that dram, my friend.
