    I too have lost a lot of weight in a year and I found that adjusting my kilts by a few inches was fairly quick and easy. No major rebuild was necessary. However, depending on how much you need to alter it, you might want to contact a kiltmaker.

    Just last week, a gentleman brought 3 of his kilts for me to make smaller. He had lost 80 pounds! As I work on them, I'll take some photos of the alteration process and post them.

    Actually I recently did the opposite for another man. He needed his kilt made 11" bigger. I did take photos of that process, so at some point I'll post those, too.
