aah, yes. On the ticket page, it goes on to say:
700 years after Scotland’s most famous battle, experience the biggest ever re-enactment of the Battle of Bannockburn at Bannockburn Live.
The National Trust for Scotland’s three day spectacular takes place on Saturday 28, Sunday 29 and Monday 30 June 2014 and, as well as a brutally realistic re-enactment of the battle, features an array of themed villages, where visitors can enjoy everything from Scottish food and drink to sports, crafts and literature, exciting outdoor activities, an action packed children’s programme, a main contemporary music stage and more.
See, taste, smell, hear and discover medieval life in the historical encampments, then watch Robert the Bruce and Edward II lead their armies to battle at Bannockburn Live.
For more information and to buy tickets, click here.
It will be one of many exciting events running as part of Scotland’s Year of Homecoming

Sneaky, sneaky! They tell us the battle is on the 28th, 29th and 30th. My guess is they'll attack at dawn on the 24th!

Just learned today that I have managed to secure a tent at Bannockburn 2014 for my Clan.
Can I joint your clan? Only joking (I have no connection!) - It seems accessible by train so I might try and head over for one of the days.

According to the latest Clan Scott Society newsletter, Stag and Thistle, "Clan Scott (Bowhill* and the three Scott clan organizations - North America, Scotland and Australia) is applying for one of the limited spaces". Later in the announcement it goes on to say that if a clan cannot garner a space, COSCA (the Council of Scottish Clans and Associations) will have a tent to represent all of the clans.
*Bowhill, for the purposes of the Clan Scott Society, is shorthand for the actual Clan Scott - not just the Society - as it is the seat of Clan Scott and the primary residence of the chief, Buccleuch.

We've just been informed that the Clan Chattan Association has been allocated a site, so I'll be coming down for the three days.
