    Just some camping pictures

    My family and my wife's sisters' family camp every year in the Sierra Nevada mountains at Highland Lakes. Our camp is a 8500 ft. it can be cold even in August.

    Sigh.... I REALLY miss camping. I haven't been in the woods or 'smelled the smell of wood-smoke' for about two years now (dang job schedule keeps me from being able to get away on weekends like I used to).

    nice looking shots. One of the coldest night I spent was in Logan canyon in August. The days were hot but the night was colder than a witches tit.

    Thanks for sharing. Love the Sierras. We have not been camping this summer but have a trip planned for the end of October. We RV now, too old to sleep on the ground!
