 Doctor Who
OK folks, it's 10:40 Sunday night, and I just got home a while ago from 4 days of working at the Houston Space City Con Sci-Fi convention. I've got a ton of good photos to get organized and share, but it might be a couple of days... But I did want to share a couple before I pass out tonight;
Here's myself and the fantastic Sylvester McCoy, the 7th Doctor, in his kilt;
And because you expect a certain level of pulchritude in my photo ops, here's a fat old man with the lovely and talented Jewel Staite from the TV shows Firefly and Stargate Atlantis;
Jewel is a sweetheart, and photo's just don't do her justice! But remember; I'm working hard so you don't have to

And here I was thinking that you might mention Peter Capaldi being identified as the new Doctor to replace Matt Smith. Capaldi - now there's a Scottish accent for you.
Looks like you had a good weekend. Did Mr McCoy tell you what tartan he is wearing?

Thanks for the photos. They are timely for me. I am catching up on my Dr. Who as I am more than several season behind the times. Still watching David Tennant.  My son has been nagging me to hurry up so we can finally discuss everything.

3 out of 12 Doctors have been Scottish actors, although David Tennant's Doctor spoke with an slight Estuary English accent his own accent would poke through at times. I'm hoping Mr Capaldi's Doctor will have a Glasgow accent.
Sylvester McCoy's real name John Kent-Smith if memory serves.

Zardoz: You old dog! Congratulations. You rang the 10 bell again. I'm so envious.
It's hard to believe "her photos just don't do her justice". How could she look any better?! I know, you were talking about her personality.
You've got to be more than just "a fat old man", because I'm that and the dollies don't flock to me.  Keep up the good work.

doc/wizard in a kilt-wonderful. and jewel...mmmmmm.
in the new orleans area, we mostly just get drunks and strippers--they don't dress well and smell pretty bad in the morning.

Scary. I'll be afraid to go to sleep tonight. I couldn't get past all the cheesecake. Looks like a lot of fun, though. Can't wait to see your other photos.
