I arrived at Hamilton College on Friday the 26th. We first met at Barb's house where we were given our room keys and then shared some time with those who had already arrived.
The next morning I took a short tour of the campus.
Here is our dorm.
On campus is the birthplace of Eliza Root (1847-1937, US Secretary of War 1899-1904, US Secretary of State 1905-09, US Senator 1909-15, Nobel Peace Prize 1912 )
The Taylor Science Center was to be our home for the next five days.
And we would take some of our meals in the Commons Dining Hall, a renovated chapel.
Saturday morning we piled onto our cars and headed out to Irish Fest in Uttica. A beautiful day and we got to see some pretty good pipe bands.
Here are the Mohawk Valley Frasers taking the field. (Recognize anyone?)
