This past week I spent with my grandparents in Anderson, SC. The usual case when I visit my grandparents is that I always leave with a small amount of cash in my pocket and just a few pounds added onto my weight. But this time I watched what I ate, didn't eat any fast food and sodas, and made sure I ate smaller portions of what we had for breakfast lunch and dinner. To my surprise, I didn't gain a single pound back! Super proud of myself! I will of course continue juicing and eating protein now that I'm back home

Good to be feeling proud about this. As are we all for you. Congratulations!

You deserve to take pride in your accomplishment to date. The only thing stopping me from emulating you is a very serious lack of self-discipline! Still searching for that perfect diet. I'm going to look into that concept of 5/2 with my doctor. She actively assists my wife in harassing me about my weight!

That's exactly the reason I like the intermittent fasting, or 5/2, or Eat-Stop-Eat, or whatever you want to call it. I don't have the self-discipline to count calories or watch every single thing I put in my mouth. But I can skip a couple meals one or two days a week without any trouble.
BTW, I like juicing. I just don't like cleaning out the juicer afterwards, which is why I don't do it more often. :-)

yes lol, its the worst. We don't have a complicated juicer, so it isn't too hard to clean up, but it is a little tedious ;)
