At least that’s my take on it as a student of nothing!
You SO just reminded me of the "Romans, go home!" scene, from "The Life of Brian". LOL

Might be interesting to know when the cat's birthday is, eh? Don't have to worry about the second date on his tombstone since nobody will ever know until somebody gets up the guts to open the darned box.

How many people here would not even know who Schrodinger or his cat were if not for Big Bang Theory?
I'm just trying to be the person my dog thinks I am.

I would... I've known about Schroedinger (and his cat) since the late 1980's.

Lemaitre was responsible for the idea of the Big Bang, not Schrodinger.

Since 1967 here. Even that is a bit late since Schroedinger proposed it in 1935 as a reductio ad absurdum "refutation" of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum theory; somehting a lot of people seem to overlook. If a so-called "wave function" is a "probabilstic wave" (statistical range) and a "wave colapse" is simply the detemination of the probability of a specific event from within that range by observation, then the whole thing becomes an example of the fallacies of hypostization and division. (cf: "Quantum Bayesianism"). I know, more than you wanted to know, but.....
