Mael, will you have the car at the games on the 31st? I look forward to seeing it soon. Congrats!

Probably not, Holcombe as I'm the Clan Convener for MacCallum Malcolm. Just can't haul all I need in that roadster! But there is a definite possibility that 'MacSpitie' will be at the Central Virginia Celtic Festival and Highland Games on Saturday, 10/19.

Great buy! One of my first cars (the family had a "gaggle" of Spridgets, TRs, etc.) was a '65 Spitfire 4, per the badge. It had the old swing axles and if you look up "bump steer" you'll see that car pictured. . . but tons of fun nevertheless. Here's wishing you many miles of enjoyment!

Fantastic Mael. Many years ago and many pounds lighter, I was the proud owner of a Spitfire 1500 in carmine red. Is there a Triumph Sports Six Club in the US? Happy motoring.

Indeed there are three clubs of them in Virginia.

Very happy for you. My first car was a '66 TR4A. Still kick myself for letting it go. It was great for fun, and a great teacher
of mechanicing and the mysteries of the internal combustion process.
