I know that in my line of work it would not be a problem to interview in one but I don't think you would want to work in one here- it would be greasy if you worked on cars in a kilt. I don't think anyone would bat an eyelash. I don 't wear one to work for the most part because I would rather get a $30 pair of pants ruined than a kilt
