    Frank: It's either a patch of rough material in which to stick the brooch of your fly plaid (worn after the fashion of all eminent men), or it's one of Rocky's USA Kilt's patches that he puts on his casual kilts.

    Just kidding. I really have no idea. There's nothing like that on mine. (I'm getting jealous already.) As you surmised, it may just be a photographic artifact. Let us know.

    Rocky believes it was just a speck of dust floating in the air when the pic was taken John, and I bet he is right. I'll take a look tonight or tomorrow. Busy tonight, St. Andrews Society.

    I sure hope I can pull some cash together for another kilt, this time at the very least in wool. While I would like a tank, I read that historically kilts were 3-4 yard with box pleats. If I could afford a tank, I could probably afford two 4 yard kilts!

    I'm leaning towards the tank...
