Ligonier Highland Games

Just as a reminder to the rabble in the tri-state areas of PA, OH, and WV (MD too): Ligonier Highland Games will be Saturday, September 21. The location is Idlewild Park, just west of the quaint village of Ligonier, which is, itself, located 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.

My wife Debra and I will be there with some friends. (Just look for the guy in the grey jacket, Henderson tartan, and backward collar...) If you still aren't sure, the ponytail will probably give me away..

Yes, it did turn into a wet one, with periods of downpour The morning was pleasant. The crowds were decent this year but, sadly, the rain drove many people home early. Till next year.................................
