    Looks like a good start to me.

    I don't have the leather problem - mine's all black! Well, apart from some now very used white Nikes and yes, I do have some cream hose to go with the Nikes - we all live and learn!

    The Black Watch is similar to the background of my MacKenzies without the red and silver/white lattices. I tend to prefer darker hose, black, navy, dark green, etc, with mid green flashes but each to his own. I also wear my hose a tad higher than in your photos, perhaps half way between yours and the bottom of my knee and my kilt at mid to top of my knee but it may just be the camera angle in your shots.

    Jack looks great, by the way!

    Jack is part Scottish Deerhound and part sneaky neighbor dog... lol

    He is also a great watchdog, because he is second hand...we picked him up only slightly used from the shelter. I would guess he's about 9 years old, so he's becoming an old man rather quickly.
    Those two photos were taken looking slightly down from higher ground, which makes Jack appear smaller than he really is, and makes my kilt look extra long.
