    I did read somewhere that he only thought he'd signed on for 1 season and was shocked to find he'd signed for 3; apparently he found the travelling up to Scotland and being away from his family too much.

    Have watched the series many times, thanks to local PBS station (WMHT).

    I have always thought this show represented X Marks (or X Marks represented the show) - some always wear kilts (Duncan); some wear on occasions (Gullie/Hector) or only when they need to (Archie).

    BTW - I fit into the Gullie/Hector "grouping"

    Heheh - yeah we are about half way through the second season now and we love it more with each episode but dadgummit it's making me jones hard for my kilt. Still got a month and change before it arrives.
