    Sail Boat Show, Annapolis, Maryland

Susan and I have been attending the United States Sail Boat Show in Annapolis, Maryland, for about 30 year now but, this year I decided to wear a kilt. Because we would be climbing in, out and around sailboats, I just wore my utility kilt. As usual, we had a great time but, wow, did I get the comments. One very interesting vender (and perhaps, our favorite) was a Scottish distillery who's product is gin and, they were passing out FREE samples (OH yea). Needless to say, I had picture requests.

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle. Nice photos. Just a bit envious. I used to go to the "Boat Show" (I think they had other minor things related to the outdoors, as well ) at the Cow Palace in South San Francisco for years. Always wanted to go to the Annapolis show. Unfortunately, timing never quite clicked (I always ended up back there at the wrong time of year, and in the field when the show was planned.)

You mean the bottle wasn't the sample?
