Function over form.
I have been looking for a belt bag that is affordable, yet celtic(?).
The Tartan Web has some nice period ones, but I would have to remortgage the house to afford them.

I love these belts, and have a black and brown one. Not the traditional kilt belt, but they look great when worn casually or semi-formally.

Colin,
I have the belt. What I need is the BAG to hang on it.

That second Link i may be getting one of those as they are my style brown is my base color as I don't get dressed up to much and it fits me better and i am sick of not being able to fit my hand, wallet keys inside of my sporran.

check out the same sites I listed for belts. These are nice casual sporrans. If you are looking for a nice dressier sporran, I would try any local Scottish shops first.

Yeah I like the fact that they give you the THinkness of the bag too not just how big it is.

I'm trying to order a Hunter from Mountain Top, but they seem to be having some computer trouble. I couldn't imagine it would be me. Sent them an email.

The "Buzz Kidder" sporrans are designed to go with the sporran strap, or on a belt. I have one and wear it both ways... depending on the use.

Notice that there are the clasps for the strap, and a "pass-through" for the belt.
Otherwise, he has a belt designed with the corresponding clasps for the sporran too.

Either way, it's a great alternative to wearing it on the front apron.
