Strange as it may seem, your observations are very useful for us locals too. As we do not do the local B&B, hotel, dog, etc., bit,----we have no need to----- it is often quite difficult to advise visitors on these aspects.

Ha ha; thank you very much but those chaps really do know their stuff; I would be restricted to handing out leaflets while they did all the real work.
I realise that I forgot to mention that dogs ARE allowed in the main tourist information office (even though there appears to be a "no dogs allowed" sticker on the door!).

I know exactly what you mean; it is exactly the same for me. I just wish that I had had longer to do a more thorough "testing" but I don't think that it will be that long before I am back up as my dad is quite keen on a trip.
