They are not in Canada and bit over your budget, but these are the best deal I have found.
I have ordered 3 pair from them and can vouch for the seller.

I do believe you will want to get away from your initially $20 budget, what you will get is pure crap.
You would be better off going to a sporting goods shop and buying Base Ball sox.

Well i have realized that it is a bit low but what i don't want to pay is 100 bucks a pair for socks. I am happy to pay 30 or so but thats my limit . Thanks for all the help i have found a couple places to look at and a few pairs off people from here . Will post pics later

I"m really digging the military surplus hose. They would be great for hiking, camping and general rough use. Wouldn't have to worry about putting a hole in 'em, considering the price.
