My wife and I played at a gala for the anniversary of the music association we perform with. As the dress for the event was black and white, I asked our director if it would be acceptable to wear my black kilt. He paused a beat, and and said, "Why not?" So I did. I asked a friend to take a couple photos, but between the bad lighting and his unsteady hand, they are not worth posting. C'est la vie...

Picture the aforesaid kilt with a black jacket and four-in-hand, white shirt and charcoal hose. Add my wife at my side, also in black, both in front of a brick wall.

A day early I know but I never know when I'll be working. So here's my Kilted _____day adventure. First snow of the season temp around freezing. I have a dental appointment then some other errands to run. I just received my new kilt "Douglas Modern", the dental hygienist was like wow it's snowing and you're still in a kilt? My reply was I don't mind it's not that cold yet.

    Kilted Friday.

Today it was my turn to cook the office BBQ, so I have a couple of ‘action’ shots. As I knew I’d be cooking, I wore one of my cheaper kilts; the Shadow tartan with my black rabbit sporran.

I knew you wore the kilt to work most Fridays Miles, but you have been keeping that barbie bit under wraps. You look to have a swag of snags and chops there cobber. Good one. Cheers

A solemn one being the 50th of anniversary assassination of President John F. Kennedy, I had turned twelve. That day and the days to come leading to his funeral are etched in my memory forever.

I took off the afternoon from the day job. Headed downtown to the historic part of Fredericksburg for a bite and a couple of pints at Sammy T’s known for their vegetarian and vegan fare. Wore my Burnett & Struth’s Malcolm Modern tartan kilt.

Nice kilt! You look very relaxed in that informal garb. You also look very comfortable around the grill. Throw a couple of porterhouse steaks on the barbie for me!
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
