Very sharp outfit. Congratulations. Did B&S do the laddie's kilt, as well? I own several B&S casuals and am very happy with them.
My mother used to say "Semper Paratus" a lot. She was a chief petty officer in the Coast Guard during WW-II.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Aye, Burnett's and Struth did my great-grandson's kilt as well.
May God bless your mother for her Coast Guard service.

Thank you. She'll be very happy and proud for your sentiment. And thank you for your service.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Well right now Alexis Malcolm is my favorite kilt maker as this beauty just arrived last night:

8 yards, Buchanan Modern 100% wool and this picture doesn't even come close to the glory of seeing it in real life. Please forgive my exuberance - I've been wanting a kilt for years and years and was finally able to get one and I think my first one out of the gate is a spectacular winner. Sorry for the lousy picture - I plan to get my outfit together and take some proper pics and will post when I do but I just couldn't keep the happiness all bottled up inside for another second.

You should be happy, even thrilled. Congratulations! I love the Buchanan tartan, because of all its color. Can't wait to see it on you.

Great looking kilt! And, yes, pictures do not do it justice. Wear it with pride and enjoy!!!
Ah, Alexis is another wonderful kilt maker. She, for some reason, seems to get overlooked on this forum for some reason. I can attest to her craftsmanship, though, as she did a superb job on my wife's long, formal, kilt skirt. She wears it to special occasions and formal events, and receives many fine compliments.
Here's a pic of my better half in her Alexis Malcolm, which is the Muir tartan:

Lovely skirt, lovely lady, lucky man! I'll have proper pictures of me in the kilt soon and hopefully more with Alexis as she told me she'd be at our Highland Games in January. Every little detail, down to my initials on the label inside, is just perfect. I can't even remember what I had built up in my head as far as expectations because the actual item just blew all the expectations away.
