British Rebel Tan Leather on the Paria River

I have four leather RKilts - hard to say which one is my favorite...probably the British Rebel Tan. Was out hiking in Paria River Canyon checking out old Anasazi petroglyphs, pictographs, and metate's. A cold grim day....but toasty warm in the leather kilt - heat rises!

All four of my leather RKilts are "working kilts" top quality construction, quality leather...love 'em...

Ron, I have to ask about your Z coils. I understand the principle behind them, but how easy are they to walk in on rough ground?

That's what sold me on my first pair of Z Coils. The store had a thingie of rough ground to trial walk on - not a problem. The next day I was hiking and moving from rock to rock twisted my ankle - the kind of twist where you know nothing good is gonna happen next - but the Z Coil absorbed the twist and I recovered easily with no problem and no after effects. I hike a lot and I've never had a twisted ankle etc. while wearing my Z Coils. The spring gives you a chance to recover once the "oh no!" begins to happen.

The only downside to kilting in Z Coils is once in a while when you see a stranger approaching and you know there's gonna make a kilt comment turns out they ask about the Z Coils instead.

God love 'em they take away the pain I had from plantar fasciitis. Worth every penny and great value. Still wearing a pair I bought ten years ago.
