Someone we can all take an example from and someone who probably averted a bloodbath in his own land by his example. As a young person I found it very difficult to understand how people could discriminate against others in the way that was so prevalent then. To witness his readiness to put this behind him without rancour was such a lesson in humanity.

I think its a shame that he will see from his grave his beloved country turn to rack and ruin , ehe was a freedom fighter and deserves respect for fighting for his beliefs . South Africa will be worse for his passing .
